Find France in Wagga Wagga
The Alliance Francaise de Wagga Wagga hold events every month throughout the year. Our events include a simple catch up over a glass of wine through to people sharing their photos and experiences during trips to France (and other European Countries), French movies (with English Subtitles), as well as French Food and Cultural happenings.
You are also welcome to come along to French Conversation (held on the first Friday of each month and 3rd Saturday of every Month). Even if you don’t speak French, listening is such an advantage! (Conversation in English occurs as well). We encourage French speakers of all levels to attend as our teachers and fellow French speakers are more than happy to help with pronunciation and grammar.

New French for Travellers Class
Starting in term 4 on 15 October
This class will help you develop a feel for French pronunciation, acquire some phrases for different travel situations and to discover some insights about French culture/way of life that will help enrich future travel experiences. Thursday nights, starting on 15 October. Enrol online here.

3rd Saturday of the month 10am-12pm

Say Cheese Photo Competition
Two hundred years ago, someone captured the world and changed it forever. Now, it’s your turn!
Say Cheese! is a photography contest open to everyone across Australia, brought to you by the Alliance Française network to mark the Bicentenary of Photography. No theme, no rules of subject — just your eye, your light and your story.
Submissions open on 1 September 2026.
1. Take a photo, or dig up a favourite you have already taken — any subject, any style
2. Give your photo a title in French language
3. Please submit your photo by 30 September 2026, using this form
4. That’s it! Winners will be announced in late 2026
