Our ‘French for Travellers’ class in 2022 would suit those well-organised people who despite our current COVID world, have long-term plans for French travel and who are happy to plan ahead in anticipation. The aim of this class is to develop a feel for French pronunciation, acquire some phrases for different travel situations and to discover some insights about French culture/way of life that will help enrich future travel experiences.

Suitable for complete beginners or for people who have some basic French, the focus of this course is on basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills with an emphasis on active student participation.

The focus of this course is on fluency for easy interaction with native French speakers. It is designed around conversation topics of general and French interest and discussion is facilitated in a group environment. Text and authentic material are used to stimulate discussions.

French irregular verbs wheel

The irregular verbs wheel is a double-sided aid introducing 60 frequently used verbs with an irregular conjugation. Both disc-sides include also simple grammatical charts describing the conjugation of auxiliary verbs, composite verb forms and personal pronouns. Each verb is presented in the following forms: Infinitif, indicatif présent, passé composé, imparfait, futur simple, conditionnel présent. Size: 21cm diameter.
